My favorite technology

Hi everyone, now for my English class I have to describe my favorite piece of technology, and that is my beautiful iPhone 6. I really love my phone, because is so useful, beautiful and light. (I have the color “Start Grey”, like in the picture.)

My cellphone is a gift to my Dad, and is expensive so is like 5 gifts (like my gift to Christmas, birthday, etc.) and I have used it for 5 months and I usually used it all the day, to listening music, read something, watch videos or pictures, talk with mi parents or friends, play different games, even to see the marks in the university.   

I really liked for a different reasons and maybe y wroth a few before, but I want to say more because now I am thinking about the time I expend using my phone and are so long, sometimes a few hours in the they, and is because the things that I can do are so much, like write mails, take pictures, send images, make exercises, and more things that I even can’t remember, I really liked because is a great tool  and with this little thing I can talk with so many people.

Well, today we have to do some activities, and then write about our results. So in the first part we have to look 2 specific articles and I found a pretty desk and a normal desk top computer and all for less than $1000!. Then, on the next activity I made a quiz and I only had half of the good answers, because I don't now to much about the "Internet Basic Quiz", and in a test I discovered that I have a moderates addiction to the internet. Also in the third part I made an exercise with different words.In the last part I choose an interesting article, the title is "Life Expectancy for white Women in U.S Decreases", Why I decided to take that article? I really don't now, just the tittle catch my attention and I read it. I think that i found sufficient information in the text and with not too many words development the title. The most interesting thing that I read, in resume, maybe is the evolution and decreases in the life expectancy for the woman in that country.Here I let some "difficult words" that I found in the article :

1-Tandem:A bicycle with seats and pedals for two riders, one behind the other.

2-High-income: Relating to or denoting people earning large salaries.

3- Bottom:The lowest point or part of something.

4- Forthcoming:About to happen or appear.

5- Unintentional: Not done on purpose.

6- Either: Used before the first of two (or occasionally more) given alternatives (the other being introduced by ‘or’).

7- Rising: Going Up, Increasing.

8- Elderly: (Of a person) old or aging.

9- Suffer: Experience or be subjected to (something bad or unpleasant).

10- Midlife: The central period of a person’s life, between around 45 and 60 years old.

11- Sounding:  The action of measuring the depth of a body of water.

12- Steady: Firmly fixed, supported, or balanced; not shaking or moving.

13- Poisoning: The severe dermatitis caused by contact with poison oak, poison ivy, or poison sumac.

14- Opioid: A compound resembling opium in addictive properties or Physiological effects.

15- Overdose: An excessive and dangerous dose of a drug.

Bazil, Unforgetable!

In January on 2014 I traveled with my Pathfinder club to Brazil in a long travel on Bus because were going to a camp in Barretos (Brazil), were go over to Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay in just 20 days, that was an incredible travel! I never can forget anything about that experience. I can share these moments with my best friends and with other incredible people.

I visited different places like Foz do Iguaçu and its water fools, aviary, aquarium, restaurants, a beautiful and biggest camp, beaches, and more interesting places. I am so grateful because I can make that travel, and well about the picture… I can’t decide what picture I can show you guys, and this was captured for my friend Isidora in the aviary on Foz do Iguaçu, in the beginning of the travel, when we arrived to Foz, and is so special to me because I can remember all the experience. This pictures show … well me and that experience and I chose that because I appear so pretty and I really like it because I have a beautiful bird in my arm. Well thank you for read my experience. Introducing me... What I can say? Well my name is Jael Basoalto and I have 17 years old. I'm studding Anthropology in the University of Chile and also I swim for the university. I'm Adventist and I really enjoy go to the church on Saturday. Maybe I can tell you the things I like to do... I love swim, sing, read and write, I like drive, travel and share time with my friends and family. Now, well I'm in love, I have a boyfriend and his name is Israel, I really like go out with he when we can, but we are and the university so is most difficult meet us because sometimes we have to study and don’t have a lot of time. This is a little of my life.
